Aztlan center to keep its name in Ft. Collins, Colorado
“The Northside Aztlan Community Center will keep its name.
City Council voted 5-2 Tuesday, with Kelly Ohlson and Ben Manvel dissenting, to keep the name and avoid a larger public debate some council members said would divide Fort Collins.

Council member David Roy said the debate that would have ensued would “have underpinnings wrought with racism.”"
