“The May 24 ”Colombia Without Mines” concert at the Gibson Amphitheatre was hosted by actress Salma Hayek and featured an international lineup in an emotionally charged acoustic show, with Juanes and fellow Colombian Carlos Vives, Dominican merengue legend Juan Luis Guerra, Spanish singer-songwriter Alejandro Sanz, Italian pop singer Laura Pausini, as well as Venezuela’s Ricardo Montaner and Puerto Rican-Floridian Luis Fonsi.

The event raised $350,000 for Juanes’ Mi Sangre Foundation: $200,000 from ticket sales, $100,000 from radio and television campaigns and $50,000 from related fundraising efforts in Colombia.”
