“Thousands of people came out for the 43rd Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade on Sunday in Hartford.
People from all over the state took part in the fiesta. The parade was not just about being Puerto Rican, but celebrating the Latin culture no matter where participants were from.
“We welcome anyone from the Hispanic race,” said parade organizer Wanda Garcia. “I mean who doesn’t like Puerto Rican food.”"
