“Univision Communications Inc., the largest Spanish-language broadcaster in the U.S., extended the deadline for takeover offers for the company to June 20 to give bidders more time, people briefed on the decision said.
The delay from June 8 extends a bidding process that began in February when Univision put itself up for sale. A group led by Grupo Televisa SA, the world’s largest Spanish broadcaster, didn’t form until last month, contributing to the hold up, said one person, who asked not to be identified because the details of the sale are confidential.”
