“Many Latinos don’t vote because they feel uninformed and think candidates ignore the issues that affect their lives, according to a report released Thursday.

The National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials, or NALEO, created the report after gathering input from 60 Latinos who were randomly selected to attend focus groups in April. The participants talked about political participation, immigration reform marches and the November election.

The findings, along with quotes from participants, are revealed in the Dallas Texas Voter Forum report released during a news conference in Dallas.”
