Hispanic golfers form association
“The newly formed Brazoria County Hispanic Golf Association is eagerly looking for members.
The golf association is hosting a tournament June 10 at Freeport Municipal Golf Course to gain recognition and recruit members.
“If you enjoy the game of golf, those are the people we are asking to join,” club president Victor Castillo said. “The club is open to everybody. Just because it says it’s Hispanic doesn’t mean anything.””
