“The nervous prancing of little paws will soon fill the air as one of the summer’s most anticipated events runs wild in Central Park.

The annual Fiestas Juan Seguin Chihuahua Race will get under way at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, June 3, as part of the two-day celebration. The fiesta begins at 5 p.m., today, with a carnival and live entertainment.

The Hispanic Chamber, which sponsors the event, has already fielded quite a few inquiries about Seguin’s newest claim to fame, said office manager Ernest Leal.”
