“Members of the League of United Latin American Citizens representing all of the southern border states met with the New Mexico Border Watch April 29 at the Las Cruces Hilton Hotel during the 77th Annual NM LULAC State Convention. LULAC officials requested mediation from the U.S. Department of Justice, Community Relations Division to calm racial tensions and promote prudent solutions to address going immigration issues.”
