“Mexicana de Aviacion, Mexico’s first airline and leader in the international market, today announced the launch of service to El Salvador from Baltimore Washington International Airport, with a connecting flight at Mexicana’s main hub in Mexico City.
The BWI-SAL route has been created to accommodate the demand of passengers traveling to and from Central America to the Baltimore Washington Metropolitan area, where more than 800,000 Salvadorians and 460,000 Guatemalans claim residence.
Starting June 1st, Mexicana 865 will depart Baltimore at 7:05 a.m. each day and arrive at MEX at 10:10 a.m. The new arrival time will allow for a convenient connection to Central America on Mexicana 289, departing to San Salvador at 11:10 a.m. for a 12:15 p.m. arrival. With this new schedule, Mexicana’s passengers will have the option of more convenient connections to the many Mexicana destinations served out of Mexico City.”
