“”Today, we march. Tomorrow, we vote,” was the frequent chant of many who participated in recent immigration rallies. Dallas leaders have called a press conference tomorrow to document the dramatic impact Latino voters are ready to make on local elections. The press conference will also detail preparations Dallas is making to host the most important Latino political event of the year, the annual convention of the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO), which opens June 22. Some parts of the report on the Dallas Latino vote and the upcoming NALEO convention agenda will be made available to the media in advance upon request.”
