“Silhouette Nocturne intends to make its mark on the world of paranormal romance and Jersey author Caridad Pineiro is one of the award-winning authors Harlequin has chosen to help launch this exciting new line with “Death Calls” in December 2006.
Caridad is no stranger to the world of paranormal romance as her “Calling” vampire series began in 2004 under Silhouette’s Intimate Moments imprint with “Darkness Calls.” “Danger Calls” and “Temptation Calls” followed in June and October of 2005 and all three books have now sold out. “The Calling” books have been nominated for and/or received various awards, such as the Affaire de Coeur 2004 Readers Poll, Harlequin 2004 Reader’s Poll, Top 5 Pick for 2005 from Catalina Magazine and the 2005 RIO Reviewers Awards.
Recently, Caridad attended the 2006 BookExpo America in Washington, D.C. to help launch Nocturne. In 2000, Caridad was one of the Latino authors featured at the first ever Spanish Pavilion at the BookExpo America in Chicago.”
