Knowledge is Power!
“DIRECTV, Inc., provider of the nation’s leading digital television service, has added KTDF-18, Azteca America, to the San Antonio local broadcast channel lineup. DIRECTV is the only multichannel service provider to deliver KTDF-18 throughout the entire San Antonio designated market area (DMA).
The launch of Azteca America in the San Antonio DMA marks the 17th major DMA where DIRECTV has launched an Azteca America local channel. DIRECTV customers in this DMA who subscribe to the local channel package can now see a variety of Azteca America’s Spanish-language entertainment programming, including worldwide soccer highlight coverage, “Ventaneando” with Patti Chapoy, newscasts from Mexico, highly popular novelas and professional Mexican League Soccer matches.
TV Azteca, the second-largest producer of Spanish-language programming in the world, provides KTDF-18 with the full array of TV Azteca’s hard-hitting, highly popular novelas in weekday primetime, including two brand new novellas, “Amor sin Condiciones” and “Amores Cruzados.” And on July 6 begins the brand new season of “La Academia.”
