“Hispanic parents in Port Arthur are calling for action, Hometown News reported Tuesday. Dozens showed up to the PAISD school board meeting to express their concerns about school safety. KBTV-4 reported parents even brought their young children to the school board meeting.
They’re claiming their complaints about school safety have gone unanswered.
The only recount at this meeting of the Port Arthur Independent School District school board was to double check the amount of people in the audience, which was around the maximum capacity of 120 people.”
