“Illegal immigrants from Mexico in Teton County say they would suffer and the county’s economy would suffer if immigration reforms forced them to return to their home country.
Miriam Cabello Rodriguez has been in the United States for seven years. She says economic instability and violence in Mexico prevents her from returning home. Rodriguez says she is only in the U-S to work and says she would return to Mexico if there were jobs.
Teton County’s Latino population has grown by 400 percent since 1995, and now make up 15 percent of the population.”
