“In response to the current debate on the immigration issue, the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies (AHAA) on June 6 will host a special forum focusing exclusively on the economic and business impact of the U.S. Hispanic community.

During an informal chat with Marketing y Medios, Carl Kravetz, newly elected AHAA chairman, explained the mission of the upcoming forum, which will take place at the J.W. Marriott in Washington, D.C. Rather than engaging in political or emotional arguments, Kravetz said, AHAA wants the discussion to revolve around the actual economic impact, especially the effects that a deportation or criminalization of undocumented workers could have on the U.S. economy. “This is, after all, the population from which we emanate and which we serve,” he said.”
