“Should English be the official language of the United States? Thursday night the U.S. Senate passed an amendment establishing English as the national language.

Supporters say it would help assimilate people into American culture. Others argue it might alienate people who don’t speak English.

One of Austin’s fastest growing radio stations is La Ley, entirely in Spanish and serving a growing Hispanic community.”
