The Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI) is hosting a CHLI Altria Congressional Briefing titled: “Immigration Reform: Where do we go from here?” which will be held on Thursday, May 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the U.S. Capitol. (Program promptly starts at 8:30 a.m.; please arrive no later than 8:15 a.m.)

This first in a series of public policy briefings will provide an open forum for discussion on the current immigration proposals being debated in Congress.

Senator John McCain (AZ), Senator Hillary Clinton (NY) and Senator Mel Martinez (FL) will be the featured speakers, and Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart will give remarks. Their remarks will be followed by a panel discussion. “
