“Univision Radio, a division of Univision Communications, Inc., today announced that ratings for its radio stations were up more than expected in Arbitron’s Winter 2006 Book over last year’s 2005 Winter Book ratings.
The company is attributing the growth in part to its flipping of six stations to play Spanish Adult Contemporary Music. The format known as the “Recuerdo” style, targets Hispanics ages 25 to 49. The company’s total audience share grew 16.2 percent among adults 18 to 34, according to Univision.”
