“As the curtain rises on what stands to be the most lucrative Hispanic upfront marketplace in history, many of the smaller cable networks in the category face the daunting task of differentiating their brands in a marketplace that’s largely dominated by a single broadcast entity.

Spanish-language broadcaster Univision scooped up better than three-quarters of last year’s $1.3 billion Hispanic upfront haul, leaving the scraps for Telemundo and some 75 cable networks, few of which enjoy the luxury of offering advertisers ratings data.”
