“The Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) announces its statement on immigration policy reform. The statement was adopted by the HNBA Board of Governors at its May meeting in Washington, DC following meetings with government officials and staff on Capitol Hill and meetings with national bar leaders.
“The Senate’s decision to resume debate on immigration reform is an historic opportunity to resolve critical issues under the current immigration system,” said HNBA National President Nelson A. Castillo. “The HNBA’s statement on immigration policy reform identifies key components of a comprehensive approach towards resolution of these issues. We look forward to continuing to assist the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives in making this a reality.”"
