“This week marks a huge opportunity for Hispanic marketers. That’s because Mexico celebrated Mother’s Day on May 10, while throughout the rest of Latin America and in the U.S. it falls this Sunday.

The holiday creates what many Latin Americans call a “puente” - a bridge or long weekend - which marketers are beginning to recognize as a unique marketing opportunity.”
