“The release of my new novel, “Make Him Look Good,” last month marked the first time my publisher, St. Martins Press, has simultaneously released my work in the original English (hardcover) and the translated Spanish (paperback), called “El Hombre Que Yo Quiero”. It is a bold move for the publisher to reach Spanish-speaking and bilingual readers in the United States, and so far the Spanish version of this novel is selling very well.

I was thrilled when a bookseller from one of the major chains at the South Cost Plaza Mall in Costa Mesa, California, took me aside at the LA Book Fair and told me that he had run an experiment by putting the Spanish version on the “new releases” table with the English.”
