“President Vicente Fox of Mexico plans a May 24 visit to Yakima, where immigration is likely to be on the agenda as part of a two-day trip to the state, Gov. Chris Gregoire announced Thursday.

Gregoire said she asked Mexican Consul General Jorge Madrazo of Seattle to invite Fox to stop somewhere in Eastern Washington with a significant Hispanic population, and the two apparently agreed on Yakima.”
