“Some leaders of the Tri-state’s growing Hispanic community are upset about Tuesday’s illegal immigrant round-ups in Boone County.

One of them is Jorge Benedetti, who is the news director for The Spanish Journal newspaper.

He says the pictures of suspected illegal hispanic immigrants at the Boone County Sheriff’s Office give the Tri-state the wrong image of American Hispanics who live in the Tri-state.”
