“The district’s Hispanic third-graders closed the gap a little more on their non-Hispanic classmates this year in reading.

The Hispanic third-graders scored about 9.46 percent closer to non-Hispanic students this year on the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test. The district ranked fifth in the state in terms of how Hispanic third-graders’ reading scores got closer to non-Hispanic students’ reading scores.”
