Paid Spanish-Language Papers Show FAS-FAX Gains

“Reversing a recent pattern of flat or even declining circulation, the few remaining paid Spanish-language dailies reported solid gains in the latest Audit Bureau of Circulations FAS-FAX.

The most spectacular gain was reported by Cuatro Communications-owned El Dia Houston in Texas, which jumped 37.7% to 10,365.

The big Spanish-language dailies, who had seen their circulation stall after a decade or more of fast growth in a swelling immigrant population, reported more modest gains.”
