“Linn County Clerk Steve Druckenmiller decided last year that he would offer a Spanish-language ballot to voters. Now that the election is here, he’s wondering if anyone is going to take him up on the offer.

“A year ago people told me they wanted them,” he said. “Now I’m wondering where those people are.”

Linn County is the first in the state to offer Spanish-language ballots. Druckenmiller’s office will print out a Spanish translation of the primary ballot as soon as someone requests it. So far, no one has.”
