“Recent data released by the U.S. Census Bureau tracks educational attainment over time. Over the time period of 1980 to 2000, the percentage of the Hispanic population that is at least a high school graduate has increased.

While more Hispanic men have become high school graduates over this time, the majority of the increase is due to the educational gains of Hispanic women.”
