“Yesterday the Puerto Rican Senate approved 5.9 percent sales tax and a new tax on large corporations (which are mostly not Puerto Rican) with earnings in excess of $10 million. Governor Anibal Acevedo Vila supports the bill and now the House of Representatives needs to take it up. “
