Hispanic church in Decatur vandalized: Minister calls it ‘act of racial hate’ in Alabama

“Though police said investigation hasn’t revealed whether vandalism at a Decatur church was a random act, church officials said they feel the crime deliberately targeted the church because of its largely Hispanic congregation.

One minister referred to the spray-painting of two large windows and the front door of La Casa Del Pueblo De Dios on 14th Street Southeast sometime between Tuesday night and Wednesday as an “act of racial hate.”"
