“Mónica Lozano, publisher and CEO of La Opinión, the largest Spanish-language daily in the U.S., and Chair of the National Council of La Raza’s (NCLR) Board of Directors will be honored by the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights (LCCR) with the Hubert H. Humphrey Civil Rights Award for her leadership in advancing equality and equal opportunity. The 2006 LCCR Hubert H. Humphrey Award Dinner will take place Thursday, May 4 at the Hilton Washington. “
