“It seems President Vicente Fox is yielding under pressure from Washington to not sign into law the recent anti-drug bill that passed the Mexican Congress and was sitting on his desk just waiting for his signature.

The minute our Administration heard that any amount of drugs found on a person would not be a criminal offense, they got on their high-moral caballos and spoke out against Fox signing the bill — oblivious, ignorant or indifferent to Mexico’s bigger drug problems with warring drug cartels.”
