Tagged: boycott, protest“Construction sites and Hispanic businesses throughout Clayton were quiet Monday as many of the area’s Hispanic workers stayed home as part of a nationwide “Day Without Immigrants Boycott,” designed by Hispanic advocacy groups to show by example the extent immigrants (legal and illegal) contribute to the economy.
Hispanics also were encouraged not to shop in stores or go to restaurants.”
