“Immigrant rights groups will shift their focus toward signing up new Hispanic voters in Arizona and persuading lawmakers to overhaul immigration policies in a way that treats illegal workers and their families fairly.
The groups say they were pleased with turnout at their consumer boycott and work stoppage Monday in several Arizona cities, as part of a national effort to draw attention to the economic contributions of illegal immigrants.”
