Virginia Latinos get out the vote

Latino voting in Herndon declined after the establishment of a center for immigrant day laborers became a hotly contested issue. Latino immigrants make up about a quarter of the town’s 22,000 population, and Herndon became a focus for the national debate on illegal immigration.”
