“HOUSTON - Immigrants and businesses across Texas and the nation are braced for work and spending boycotts aimed at protesting proposed crackdowns on illegal immigrants.
Supporters hope Monday’s “Day Without Immigrants” protest will bolster their argument for immigration legislation that would provide a path for legalization and fair treatment for undocumented workers. Boycotts and rallies were planned in Houston, Dallas, Lubbock and other Texas cities.”
