“Heated debate is growing over the issue of illegal immigration as evidenced on Iowa talk radio. U.S. immigrant advocacy groups have designated May first as a day to rally against a house bill that would make it a felony to enter the U.S. illegally.

Locally a coalition of immigrant groups has asked immigrants and those who support them to stay away from work, stores, and school. The day is causing some Iowans to make some big decisions.”
