“Some Sheboygan-area Hispanic residents kept their children home from school on Tuesday because of rumors that federal immigration officers were in the city to deport illegal immigrants.
Similar rumors were reported in Manitowoc County.
Joe Sheehan, superintendent of the Sheboygan Area School District, is urging parents to send their kids back to class.”
