Immigration debate finds Ohio churches on side of newcomers
“On Sunday morning, a 4-year-old suddenly, confidently strode between the Rev. Dan Reed and the first row of some 400 worshippers at St. Mary Catholic Church in Wooster.
Reed had just drawn from a biblical story during his 9:30 Mass, telling of Thomas, who Scriptures say doubted Jesus’ resurrection.
The priest stressed that Christians should “embrace, not push away, doubters” and others, too, who aren’t part of their familiar surroundings.”
