“Some Twin Cities businesses may be dealing with a serious work shortage next week.

Opponents of immigration reform are planning an economic boycott and rally next Monday. The demonstration is in response to debate in the U.S. Senate over guest worker programs, citizenship for illegal immigrants and penalties for those already in the country.

Businesses who rely on immigrants are putting plans in place to deal with their absence on May Day, but it’s a struggle for some.”
