“Many folks believe that Hispanic marketing and advertising is all about language. That it’s all about English or Spanish, I beg to differ. Being Hispanic is so much more that just speaking and understanding a different language.

It is about culture, customs, foods, traditions, etc… Perfect example, when we joined the agency one of the first acquisitions in the office was an espresso maker. Come 4pm, every day, the espresso was colando café cubano in the kitchen. After a while it was not just the Latinos in the office that got antsy when it was not brewing by 4pm. It’s no surprise to me that Hispanic culture has influenced pop culture especially among the young where we make up an even greater percentage.”
