Grant will help better serve Hispanics in Ohio

“The Women’s Connection will soon better serve the more than 2,000 women who contact the center each year for support.

The neighborhood center in Price Hill that has served women, children and families since 1997 is now getting resources to help serve the needs of the growing population of Hispanic women in the community as well.

The organization has received a two-year $55,000 grant from the Greater Cincinnati Foundation. They are receiving $30,000 the first year and $25,000 the second year to pay for a new position — a social worker who is fluent in both English and Spanish.”
