National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals NAHREP’s Annual Conference Spotlights Immigration Reform
“The controversial issues of immigration reform and ITIN lending and GSE reforms will be among the topics discussed at the annual legislative conference held by the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) on April 18-20, 2006, at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C. The event serves as a discussion forum on public policy that affects Latino homeownership, including the impact of current issues and the role of government on minority home buying.
The NAHREP conference brings together the national board of the 14,000-member trade association, affiliate chapter presidents from around the country, top corporate leaders and government-appointed officials to discuss the most current issues and policies that affect Latino homeownership and Hispanic real estate professionals. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a town-hall format exchange with panelists and exchange ideas with experts, government leaders, consumer advocates and appointed officials. A contingent of members is also expected to visit elected officials from their local districts. “
