“A group of about 25 hundred Hispanic students who attended a meeting today sponsored by the Baptist General Convention of Texas urged lawmakers to pass comprehensive and compassionate immigration legislation.
Students urged President Bush and Congress to pass legislation that addresses stronger border security, respect for the law and a path toward citizenship for undocumented immigrants.”
