“Information was obtained Tuesday alleging that a work stoppage by some Hispanic employees took place earlier in the day at the Guntersville Gold Kist following the alleged suspension of several employees for apparently participating in Monday’s march in Albertville. It was said the plant closed for a period of time with no one allowed inside.

According to Guntersville Police Chief Scott Walls, his department did go to the Gold Kist plant, but were told it was a personnel matter, and the police were not needed. So, his officers left the scene with no further action necessary.”
