“In a scene repeated in cities large and small throughout Florida, thousands of immigrants – farmworkers, construction workers, fast-food employees – walked down Quincy’s main thoroughfare Monday afternoon to demand reform of the nation’s immigration laws.

“Si se puede” – “we can do it” – chanted the protesters, many of them waving American or Mexican flags and signs that read “we are workers not criminals” and “we want a fair chance.”"
