“American flags took to the air in the largely-Latino Mission District Monday for a spirited press conference and demonstration calling for greater immigrant rights.
At the morning press conference, Filipino, Chinese and Spanish-speaking leaders gave speeches by megaphone. Participants crowded a sidewalk and plaza, leading chants. The crowd, including a contingent of descendents of European immigrants, cheered on calls to reject the House bill 4437.”
