‘La Costeña Feel the Heat Jalapeño Eating Challenge Tour’ Launches to Offer Jalapeño Lovers the Chance to Break the World Record

“In celebration of Mexican culture, food, family and tradition, La Costeña is launching a national mobile tour, which promises to heat up the summer. The La Costeña Feel The Heat Jalapeño Eating Challenge Tour is scheduled to visit the country’s largest Hispanic community events. Families are invited to enjoy Mexican food favorites, while helping raise needed awareness for their community food banks. The 17-week tour launches in Phoenix on April 10th, challenging jalapeño lovers to attempt to break the Guinness World Record(TM) for the most jalapeños eaten within one minute, which currently stands at 15 jalapeños. The tour will visit eight major cities, and one finalist from each city will receive an opportunity to compete in Chicago’s final fiery challenge for the Guinness World Record(TM) title and the chance to win cash prizes. “
