“More than 3,000 people marched from Linn Park to Kelly Ingram Park Sunday afternoon in a peaceful demonstration for major immigration reform.
“This crowd exists because they want to send a message to Alabama,” said Sigfredo Rubio, one of the event organizers. “There are Latinos here and they support the economy of the state. We want our representatives to vote for a just and comprehensive path to immigration reform.”"
