“U.S.-based Telemundo network will be more closely aligned to Mexico with two newly formed companies signed today in Mexico City: the creation of Estudios Mexicanos Telemundo, a TV studio to produce and export content from Mexico to the U.S. and Latin America (also to be exhibited in Mexico), and Palmas 26, a new company specifically aimed at the Mexican television market.

Don Browne, president of Telemundo, said in a press statement, “It’s important that we expand our productions in Mexico to take advantage of the relevancy that content can deliver to our viewers.”"
